What Is a CSA Membership?

CSA Stands for “Community Supported Agriculture!”

CSA Memberships at GTFC are a weekly buffet-style produce subscription, but they’re so much more than that too!

Support your neighborhood farm and farmers, get first access to specialty and limited crops, and eat great food grown by great people.

While CSA Memberships are traditionally viewed as a “produce subscription,” they also create a partnership between farms and the community to ensure the success of the local food system in the season ahead. CSA’s allow farms to have an income in the Winter and Spring when the cost of production is high but revenue is low. CSA’s provide a way for community members to deeply support the mission, values, and practices of local farms, regardless of the outcome of the season ahead. By signing up for a CSA Membership at GTFC, you become part of the group that ensures we can continue our operation year after year while you also enjoy the benefits of weekly fresh produce offerings.
